We are very pleased to announce the availability of the Heavy Duty Vacuum pump.
It is an industrial grade pump capable of shifting over 80 litres of air per minute. This means you are able to build bigger rigs and maintain the vacuum in them. In smaller rigs the draw down time is much quicker.
As an example two BigFoot plates are drawn down and set in less than 10 seconds.
There is a 6mm Hard anodised cheeseplate fitted as standard to the pump to make rigging it a bit easier.
All the holes are on 1 inch spacing and some are tapped 3/8x16 and 1/4x20 UNC.
Metric threads are available but are not a stock item.
The pump can be powered by a standard V lock battery or from any 12 volt battery,
as well as from a car cigar lighter. Giving you a choice of power solutions.
The pump is fitted with a mechanical vacuum gauge for you to monitor your system pressure. The gauge does not use any power, so even when the power is off you can still see your system status.
The pump is available on its own or as a kit.
On its own the pump is supplied with two power cables.
One is a 4 pin XLR cable and the other is 4 pin XLR to car cigar lighter.
The pump is fitted as standard with a V lock plate.
When supplied as a kit the pump is packaged in a Pelicase.
The kit comprises of 2 4.5Ah Nimh Cine Power V lock batteries,
1 V fast charger (can fast charge 2 batteries at the same time)
and the standard cable set.
